My Love/Hate Relationship with my Photography Workflow

This should probably be a blog post but nobody reads my blog lol. I have a photography workflow problem. If you aren't familiar with photography workflows, they are basically a todo list for each client (the editing, sharing, creating an album, delivering proofs etc) BUT I have a love/hate relationship with todo lists.
I buy a new daily planner every few weeks. I find one I like and start filling in some important things to work on and then one day I forget to bring it with me somewhere cause it doesn't quite fit in my bag......so then I get a new bag.
I fit it in my new bag perfect and go on and forget it's in that bag and think "I'm just gonna use an app".
So I do that.
I open up one note and setup a todo list ....but I can't set a due date on there. I don't know why I worry about that since it's not gonna be done by the due date anyway but I want the option. I try Evernote and it only allows due date on the entire list not each one.
So I just set reminders...BUT theres just one problem with using an app or software for a todo list ....i never open it. Who wants to look at a todo list, when I can just tap on this app over here and look at Instagram, or Facebook or YouTube or anything else that is NOT my todo list lol.
2020 is gonna be the year I finally get a Photography Workflow I'm happy with. Whats been working for you? Are you pen and paper or software minded?
