ST Paul's Abbey Christmas Tree Farm & The North Pole Santa Photo Station This COULD Be / Newton, NJ

Imagine you visit a Christmas tree farm, and right next to it is a giant makeshift North Pole to walk through? and Santa is sitting there to take a photo with and then there's a little gift shop with small wooden Christmas toys
Im Jewish and even I get excited about Christmas ....there's never Hanukkah photostations at the mall.
THIS is St Paul's Abbey....a once prominent monestary stone mansion along route 206 in Andover / Newton NJ. It is home to the Benedict Monks whose members have dwindled to less then 10 members. They moved across the street to a newer building where their school also sits abandoned.
The township leased the building to become #affordablehousing but those plans fell through (apparently sleeping involves being safe lol)
However there is one major aspect of St Abbey that does well...somewhat. They sell #christmastrees. So yea alot of #newjersey people come here to get a tree and then leave. ......but what if they stayed??? Seems like some ingenuity could make this place thrive. You already have families in the Christmas spirit coming....and they all need family portraits for their Christmas cards we all love to do via @shutterfly. Let's do this
