First Day of FALL means Autumn Family Photo Ideas like Foliage and Pumpkin Patches.
Yesterday I headed out to High Point State Park in High Point, New Jersey to visit the High Point Monument and see the beginning of fall foliage as leaves need colder weather to change colors.
End of September is best for North New Jersey autumn family photos and central is best in mid to late October.
Yesterday was the official first day of Fall 2019 which means busy season is upon us as Professional Photographers. Every working Photographer considers October to be one of the busiest times of year and that is due to the abundance for of fall foliage that makes for great family photos and landscape photography. Beyond just fall foliage, there is also pumpkin patches galore.
As leaves need colder weather to change their color before falling in November, I decided to venture out to where in New Jersey its gets the coldest first and that is at the highest point in New Jersey, appropriately called High Point, NJ. If you haven't been there, it is an incredible view and there is a monument you can tour. The monument itself was closed so I don't get to take you inside in this video but I take you to the area to point out the early changing of leaves from green, to yellows, oranges and reds.
I then take you back to the office to talk about some great autumn photography tips such as outfits to where, locations and how the season works.
